WHAT IS WINLET AND WHAT IS IT FOR?
WinLet is the first device against violence against women, created to prevent aggression and violence in all its forms.
HOW DOES THE DEVICE WORK?
It is very simple: with THREE clicks you activate the 110 decibel siren (to attract the attention of passers-by, to drive away the attacker) and SOS messages to the previously selected contacts with your position in real time. By holding down for THREE seconds instead, you start the SILENT ALARM, which consists of starting the sos messages, but without starting the siren: more useful in some cases such as domestic violence.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MAKE IT START BY WRONG?
Nothing! The alarm is deactivated by pressing and holding for FIVE seconds, after which you will have to open the App and enter your secret code (do not tell anyone!). In addition, the device has a protective cap to avoid this kind of case as much as possible!
HOW DOES THE OPERATIONAL CENTER WORK?
The Operations Center is an extra service: active 24/7, it contacts you in the event of an alarm; if you do not answer, they activate the emergency procedure by IMMEDIATELY notifying the Police, to which your position and characteristics are referred (hair color, height ...). The service is optional, not mandatory and can be activated or deactivated whenever you want from the App and costs 9.99 per month
BUT THE SIREN DOESN'T STUN ME TOO?
No!! 110 decibels is approximately equivalent to the pain threshold, for example, such as the house alarm or the police siren. It has a very annoying sound, however, by the time you activate it in an emergency, it is not harmful, but can only cause some discomfort for a few minutes. Tip: in case of aggression, try to remove it from your ears and, rather, bring it closer to those of the attacker!
